Llama, Llama Red Pajama Day
Today was Llama, Llama Red Pajama Day! Students were invited to donate a dollar to wear their pajamas to school. The money was donated to the Cherokee County Ferst Foundation, which provides books to children in our area. We raised over $600! At school, students heard Mrs. Gazell read Llama, Llama Red Pajama by Anna Dewdney.

Scholastic Book Fair
Our first Scholastic Book Fair was held August 15 through 19. It was very successful! Our school received a percentage of all books sold during the book fair. Thank you to everyone who purchased books last week!

Mrs. Gazell's Storytime
Students in the primary grades met Mrs. Gazell when she read to them this week. Kindergarten and first grade listened to Llama Llama Red Pajama by Anna Dewdney and second grade heard A Bad Case of Stripes by David Shannon.
